Shortage of Time is Not an Excuse

"I didn't have the time" as an excuse is almost always a farce.

If we were to account for every minute of our daily lives, we'd realize how we sink an incredible amount of time on pointless activities.

From aimless browsing to idling to small talk to excess sleep.

However, when something of "perceived importance" pops up ad-hoc, we suddenly pull out time like a forgotten five dollar bill in a worn out pocket.

Meeting an old friend, checking out the sports game, grabbing exclusive tickets, tending to the in-laws (code red for married folk) - these engagements somehow manage to grab a slot on our otherwise crowded calendar in a moment's notice.

Our procrastination is like a biased bouncer outside a club who picks his favorites.

So, stop blaming the shortage of time.

"It didn't take priority for me" is more closer to the truth.
